plus, shoyo's got a veryfertileimagination even during (or was that just an unbelievable amount of concentration?). ]

but it's fun? it's fun in a way viktor wasn't really expecting. he's never cared for sports, just couldn't find them engaging in the socially acceptable way that others bonded over with small talk and surprise tickets. perhaps it's different when you know someone playing, perhaps he simply likes shōyō well enough to give it a proper chance, maybe having pal there to peanut gallery with him makes all the difference, or maybe it's just that good of a game but?

it's an international sports festival! we've got the summer and winter olympics where A LOT of athletes representing their countries get together in one place to compete for medals! they're done every 4 years! i played in the summer olympics for japan in 2021, men's volleyball and beach volleyball division!
next time i'm going to try and play for brazil in beach volleyball. I've been living there for years before trench.
